Message from the Managing Director
During the National Lockdown, our Home will be closed to the public, and only a limited number of office admin staff will be working on site. ALL external visits are suspended until further notice – including visits from parents and family members of our children.
Our charity shop, B&B, laundry and catering services are also closed until further notice.
It’s huge blow to our children. Visitors mean the world to them and this is a very disappointing and difficult time for them. But we must practice very serious self isolation in order to remain healthy and available to look after the children. We will pick up on the visits as soon as it is safe to do so.
In the meantime, please don’t stop supporting our Home!
If you would like to donate much needed food and cleaning items for our Home, we are still accepting deliveries from grocery stores of items ordered online. Unfortunately, we are unable to collect donations of second hand clothing and household items for the charity shop at the moment. Please store them until the crisis is over.
With the loss of income from our charity shop and other commercial enterprises, we would really, really appreciate your financial assistance right now.
Please make a donation online now if you can. Thank you for your ongoing concern, and for all the messages of support we have received. Together we will get through this very challenging time. We wish you and your families courage and good health during this time.[ Posted 31 March 2020 ]
