Fun and engaging learning activities from a young age are the key to children’s future academic success. Our Siyathuthuka programme focuses on children in Grades 1 to 3, helping them build strong numerical and literacy foundations through fun games and challenges.

Even the youngest enjoy number games and counting challenges, while the Grades 2 and 3 are able to tackle word games, storytelling exercises and reading aloud to improve pronunciation, fluency and confidence.

Writing skills are promoted through interactive creative activities designed to develop handwriting, spelling and sentence construction.

Boys and girls aged 3 to 10 years also participate in regular Occupational Therapy group sessions aimed at supporting concentration, fine motor coordination, problem solving and social interaction.

Several children have benefited from one-on-one Dialectical Behaviour Therapy – kindly funded by our caring supporters – which helps them control emotions, manage harmful behaviour and strengthen coping skills and resilience.
