Our Scout and Cubs Troops are thriving, with regular meetings where they learn fun stuff like outdoor skills and knot tying. They have also fully adopted the Scout Promise and Scout Law, helping them develop a strong sense of belonging and personal responsibility.
Recently our Scouts and Cubs took on the Ponte Challenge – a physically demanding event which involved climbing the 54 flights of stairs at Ponte Tower. Sheer determination and perseverance resulted in the Troops earning an impressive three gold, two silver and four bronze awards.
A fascinating visit to the Astronomical Society of SA Johannesburg Centre sparked keen interest in astronomy, space and the night sky.
The youngsters also enjoyed an adventurous night hike, learning about nature and honing their outdoor skills.
