Baby steps – news from Funda Ngo Thando ECD Centre

At the end of last year, we said farewell to 21 children who start Grade R in 2025. We know you’re going to smash it this year, little ones, thanks to the strong foundations you built here with us.

All our children are continually assessed through close observation and record keeping, enabling us to track their progress and ensure they are taught in a way that makes sense to them. At the end of the year, they take home a ‘school report’ to keep parents in the loop.

We also finish the year with a concert to showcase what the children have learnt. While the parents watch the little ones perform their songs and rhymes and dances, we watch the parents’ faces bursting with pride and the odd tear. Heartwarming moments to treasure!
