After qualifying as trained scouts, our child and youth care workers are now running The Johannesburg Children’s Home Scout Troop. We are ‘The Sunshine Adventurers’, after one of our children submitted the best name and scarf design – a mix of blue, orange and yellow with a sun as our logo.
Our scout troop now numbers 25 children age 13 and above. They are enjoying developing new skills in outdoor survival, first aid, leadership and community service.
