Couple shares Wedding Day with JCH

Venue hire and catering are two important income generating social enterprises at the JCH. We regularly hire out the Westcott Hall for conferences, parties and weddings – and provide catering for guests – with all the proceeds going towards the care of our children.

Recently, we had the honour of hosting a beautiful wedding. And as an added bonus, the bridal couple encouraged their guests to donate hygiene packs for our children instead of buying wedding gifts.

Tyrah and Mao shared their thoughts with us regarding their special day:

“Together, we had spoken about a way to share our happiest moments with those that truly deserve it. Our intention was to make a positive impact on the JCH children and our guests.

“We’re so fortunate to have shared our beautiful day with the JCH and have contributed towards a good cause. We can only hope to inspire more individuals to extend their efforts to all those in need. Together we can change the world and put a smile on the faces of many; this is our act of charity.”
