Every child’s favourite – a day out at the zoo

From a multitude of pretty pink flamingoes to Charlie the chimp, snakes and crocodiles, magnificent lions and even a rhino, the Johannesburg Zoo has everything needed to keep a bunch of lively children fascinated and hugely entertained for hours on end.

There was much to learn about the amazing creatures on display, and some amusing animal antics to laugh at before it was time to enjoy a picnic under the trees at the Botanical Gardens – where the kids tucked into their favourite snacks and treats.

Blessed with perfect weather, our trip to the Zoo was a resounding success. Grateful thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the outing.
