Great start for kids
No fewer than 21 tots from our local community have enrolled at our Early Childhood Development Centre, which opened in January. Owing to the second wave of Covid-19, there was little fanfare. But that didn’t deter our learners or their parents.
Children at Funda NgoThando (Learning with Love) follow the formal preschool curriculum to ensure they reach their developmental milestones. In addition, they receive nutritious meals, and their parents participate in training and other activities designed to maximise the impact of what the little ones are learning at school.
Conveniently situated within the grounds of JCH, the Centre is able to tap into existing professional facilities to provide speech and hearing tests for the little ones. We also have an Educational Psychologist on hand to provide consultations if necessary.
