Christmas cheer

lt’s the most wonderful time of the year

Excited little faces have already noticed the stores brimming with colourful tinsel and crackers, sparkling lights, Christmas trees and special treats. At school, the kids are practising for their school nativity concert and singing Christmas carols.

Soon it will be time to open the first door of their advent calendars to find small surprises, all leading up to the magic of Christmas morning … waking up early to see if Santa has been and left piles of brightly wrapped presents under the tree.

But it’s not just about the gifts. It’s also about the fun of spending time with family and friends … feeling loved and safe. And learning about kindness and sharing, creating happy memories that they’ll cherish long after the holiday is over.

We don’t want our children to miss out on any of this. Even though they won’t be spending the holiday at home with their families, they still have a home and a ‘family’ of caring people doing everything possible to make sure the magic of Christmas touches them.

Please will you be part of our caring family and reach out today with a donation to help give them a Christmas to remember?

R250 would help fill a stocking and provide a special Christmas lunch for one child. R450 pays for a new pair of jeans and a t-shirt or sneakers … top of the wish list for most of the older children. Smaller gifts help buy new pencil bags, crayons and other stationery for school. Not to mention toys and sweets!

Any amount you can contribute now will add to the magic of Christmas, and send a silent message to our kids: Your happiness matters. You are loved and valued. And that’s the most important message of all this festive season.

Thank you for caring.
