Summer holiday fun – thanks to you!

Swimming in the beach pool was one of the high-lights of the kids’ summer camp at Maraneman on the Vaal in December – along with toasting marshmallows round the camp fire.

Grateful thanks to our generous donors who sponsored the cost of this annual outing, giving our children a rare opportunity to enjoy a memorable holiday. Along with all the fun, there’s also a serious aspect to the camps, with sessions designed to promote confidence, leadership, life skills, interest in the environment and hope for the future.

Back home, the summer holiday fun continued with pool days, picnics and braais, slip ‘n slide and a day at Bounce to unleash some energy.

Christmas was celebrated in style with a grand dinner party and talent show high- lighting the kids’ musical and artistic skills. What a wonderful time we had – thank you!
